Absolutely.
Desert Odyssey has insurance coverage above and beyond
what is required by state and federal regulating agencies.

Does Desert Odyssey Tours provide food and beverages?
Every
program includes bottled water and snacks. Some of the
longer programs provide lunch. Custom meal programs and
full catering is available as well.

Does Desert Odyssey Tours take special diets into consideration?
Yes.
If requested, we can provide vegetarian and kosher meals.
We can also take special requests or upgraded menus with
previous notice.

What do we need to bring?
This
question depends on the season. In the late fall and winter
months: a light jacket, cotton pants, sweatshirt, and
running or hiking boots. In the spring, summer, and early
fall: shorts, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and lip balm.
All year: camera and a sense of adventure! Everything
else is provided.
6. Where will you pick us up?
Most
hotels on the strip have Travel and Tour lobbies. All
pick-ups and drop-offs are conducted there. Some hotels
have other arrangements (ie., valet, front lobby, etc.).
The pick-up and drop-offs points at these properties will
be conveyed to the client prior to his/her arrival. Any
changes in the scheduled area will be communicated in
a phone call to the guest, either at home, or at his/her

7.
Do you accommodate children?
Children
under 5 are not permitted in any of our tour programs.
A guardian must accompany children under 18.
8. What happens if the weather is poor?
Not
likely in this area, but... Desert Odyssey Tours will
only cancel a tour when the weather is considered dangerous
to the safety of the client and the driver. In that event,
the client will be asked to reschedule the event. If that
is not possible due to time constrictions, other accommodations
will be considered.

Is there a group discount?
That
depends on the size of the group and the event planned,
but generally, yes. Groups are afforded a per person discount
on hiking, corporate retreat, corporate training and teambuilding
events.

POLICIES
Desert
Odyssey Tours, LLC. utilizes the services of the best
outdoor adventure tour operators in the entire Las Vegas
area. All operators have proven themselves the most
qualified in their respective fields by years of dedication
to service, customer satisfaction, customer safety and
the preservation of our beautiful desert surroundings.
All tour operators are fully licensed to operate in the
State of Nevada and are fully insured.
The
adventure tour experts employed by Desert Odyssey Tours,
LLC. are available to answer your questions or make reservations
24 hours a day 7 days a week on our toll free information
line, 1.800.218.4942. Questions and reservations via email
will be addressed on a first come, first served basis,
but no later than one business day from time of receipt.
For
reservations made via email or online: you will be contacted
via email or phone within 48 hours of the receipt of your
request to confirm your reservation and discuss any balances
owed and tour details. Please make sure to include
a daytime phone number and email address with every online
booking request.
All
tour pricing is all-inclusive meaning there will never
be additional charges or fees of any kind once tours are
booked. Please see complete tour descriptions for
exact details as to what is included in each particular
tour.
Due
to the small group nature of our tours space is often
limited. Please make your reservations as early as possible
to ensure the best selection of tours for the dates you
are interested in. There is no guarantee of tour
availability until the time of booking. Tour itineraries
and destinations are subject to change at any time without
notice. Possible reasons for schedule and/or itinerary
changes could include severe weather, change in tour schedule,
unsafe conditions, government restrictions and acts of
God. Desert Odyssey Tours, LLC. is not responsible
for any delay, cancellation, itinerary or schedule change.
*If
any scheduled tour is cancelled due to weather or any
other reason Desert Odyssey Tours, LLC. has the right
to arrange an alternate tour. No refunds will be
issued for alternate tours
that are scheduled due to cancellations for any reason.
It
is your responsibility to contact Desert Odysey Tours,
LLC. (24 hours) prior to tour departure to confirm pick-up
location and times. Our local Las Vegas number is 1.702.506.2581.
Please be prepared to depart for your tour 15 to 30 minutes
prior to the scheduled pick-up time (if applicable).

PAYMENT
AND CANCELLATION POLICIES
A
minimum of 25% of the total tour amount per person is
required to hold space for any tour. Final payment(s)
for tours must be received 30 days prior to tour departure.
Final payment(s) not received 30 days prior to tour departure
will result in automatic cancellation of reservation.
Full payment(s) is required to hold space for any tour
reserved less than 30 days prior to departure. Remittance
of final payment(s) is the sole responsibility of the
purchasee.
WE
ACCEPT VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS AND DISCOVER
CARDS. PAYMENTS MADE WITH A CHECK ARE NOT CONFIRMED
UNTIL THE CHECK IS PAID BY ISSUING BANK.
A
cancellation fee in the amount of 25% of the total tour
price per person will apply to any cancellation made 30
days or more prior to tour departure. NO REFUND
will be given to any cancellation made less than 14 days
prior to departure. Deposits are non-refundable
but you may reschedule if necessary.
There
will be a $20.00 per person rescheduling fee charged for
any schedule change. Schedule changes made will
be based strictly on availability.
DEPOSITS
ARE NON-REFUNDABLE! THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THESE
POLICIES! BY
SUBMITTING THIS TRANSACTION YOU ARE AGREEING TO THESE
POLICIES.

GROUP
BOOKING/EVENT POLICIES
Group
bookings have the same general policies as standard bookings
with the following additions:
A
deposit is necesary to confirm a date for any group tour.
This deposit will be applied to the final total cost for
the group booking/event and is non-refundable but can
be used for an alternate date without monetary penalty.
Once the date and activities have been arranged it will
be required that a sales contract be signed and returned
to Desert Odyssey Tours, LLC. with payment. For bookings
made in advance a payment schedule will be laid out in
the sales contract. Generally full payment for any group
booking/event will be due 45 days prior to the event.
Payments
made for group bookings/events are to be made by personal,
company or certified check. Payments made for Group Events
or functions by credit card are subject to a 3% surcharge
for processing fees. Itemization of costs will not be
provided by Desert Odyssey Tours, LLC. or sub contractor
for any group booking/event.
For
group bookings we require that contact be established
with one "Group Leader" or coordination team.
This "Group Leader" will be the contact person(s)
for Desert Odyssey Tours, LLC. for all aspects of the
group booking/event. We will not accept calls or emails
from all members of the group, only the "Group Leader".
Please
allow ample time for the coordination of any group booking/event.
For larger groups try to allow at least 90 days planning
time. Desert Odyssey Tours, LLC. will not be responsible
for group bookings/events scheduled too late for available
dates. Please book your group event as early as possible.
